Hi everyone!Had a very busy time last week as a translator at WTCC event here at our local track in Okayama.Should`ve guessed it was going to be "interesting" as soon as I walked into office and manager looked like he`d seen a ghost.Spoke to him in Japanese and he was amazed at how good my Japanese was.He thought I was none other than famous bike rider, Capirossi, haha.Worked approx. 80hours in a week as well as doing my best to work my regular job.Driving home late at night proved adventurous too, as I nearly hit deer on 2 nights!Plenty of wildlife here!

Had some unrelated business in Fukuyama and couldn`t resist the opportunity to stop off at HDO and take some pics to share with everyone.ALthough having knowing owner Kitashiba-san for some time, it was my first time to swing by his awesome shop, situated approx. 1 1/2 hours away from us.Hope you enjoy the pics!

4 of us went over for this, including Goodroad Murata-san and Driving Sports Kawabata-san.It was a real eye-opener for us all and great to see how well setup the whole drift scene is, and I wonder how much of that can be credited to Driftworks.I was amazed at how expensive cost of living is there and found many prices to be double that of Japan, blowing away the image of Japan being expensive!

Not sure if I should be nicknamed the "Rainman" as it seems most events I go to are plagued by rain??Together with my son and 2 others, we headed off and had a great day.A great crowd turnout given the weather and rain certainly didn`t dampen the day.
